# Recording

## **Marking Recording Flag**
To mark a recording flag during your session, use the default keyboard shortcut `⌘ ⌥  ⌃ + F`. This will allow you to flag important moments in your recording. You will see these moments marked with a flag on your timeline, which will make it easier to identify key sections for editing.

## **Changing Shortcut For Recording Flag**
If you want to change the shortcut for creating a recording flag, follow these steps:

1. Go to the top menu bar and click on **`Screen Studio`**  
2. From the dropdown list, choose **`Show Settings`**  
3. Once the settings window opens, navigate to the **`Shortcuts`** tab section  
4. Find the option **`Create recording flag`** and modify the shortcut to your preferred key combination
