# Activating Screen Studio

To activate Screen Studio, start by navigating to the top menu bar and clicking on `Screen Studio.` From the dropdown list, select ` Activate Screen Studio.`

**Email Address**: In the provided field, enter the `email address you used for purchasing your subscription.` After typing in your email, a code will be sent to that address. Check your inbox for the activation code and follow the instructions to complete the activation process.

**License Key**: located at the bottom of the activation window. In the designated field, enter your license key to activate Screen Studio. `This activation is only applicable for legacy one-time purchase licenses.`
